I Love Musicals

I love musicals if you haven't already guessed that from the title. I have been listening to Jesus Christ Superstar since Easter. I have always loved Les Miserables, Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat, and the Fiddler on the Roof because they were the first musicals I knew. I recently watched "Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" and I really loved it and now I can't stop listening to it. Are there any musicals that you have seen that you just feel in love with?

Maximum Ride video game

I would like to see a maximum ride game that doesn't suck. I am sure most you also want the game not to suck but I already have an idea for it. I LOVE the game called Total Annihilation (which is the number one real time strategy game ever.) Well I got to thinking what if they made a game similar to Total Annihilation but with Maximum Ride characters. There would be good and evil.

Naturally the game would have more classes and more to it than that or else it would be to easy but that is just a general idea. Well I am signing off now.

EARTH DAY

All right then it is finally earthday and I hope everyone has had done or attempted to do something. I saw this video on youtube and I wanted to explain something that I haven't really touched on mostly because I was busy with others thing lately. And for all of you who check out the site I know it is mostly for canadians but just because something is mostly for us doesn't mean it still isn't a good idea for the rest of the world.
What I am talking about is a go "blue" project for water conservation. Check out www.goblue.org to see what you can do to help reduce your water useage.

Tomorrow

It is one day until earth day so I am running around and trying to get everything done on my side. How are the rest of you guys(or girls) doing?Any changes in plan? I don't really where I am going with this post. It is kind of a reminder again to help out tomorrow but other than that really nothing new. Sleep and other things

Ever have something that is just always there that you take for granted. I am not kidding when I say you would miss almost anyone of those things. Toping my list of things that you miss that you take for granted is... as you probably guessed from the title SLEEP. I have not been able to sleep well lately and it is only going to get worse in a couple weeks. This is more of me complaining then a real post but anyway I have a question for you. What is something you used to have taken for granted and then lost? Please don't bring up family members because that is depressing and brings back bad memories for people who have gone through it. Feel free to answer.

Less than a week

Ok bringing out old habits I am just putting it out there that there is less than 1 week until earth day which is the roughly the date I had planned on starting the global warming campaign thing. (I can't think of good words right now.) I hope that the people reading this will attempt to do something in the general time zone of earth day and I hope this helps the situation we have gotten ourselves into.

I am so backwards

Ok today I am going to take a new twist on my blog on do what most bloggers already. Say what is on their mind.

Ok last night while trying to sleep I came to the conclusion that I am so internally backwards I have to remind myself who I am.(Not literary I am not yet that crazy.) Here is why I think I am backwards.

I hate senseless violence but I would give almost anything to get in a brawl.
I think it is stupid to hear someone cuts themselves but I am fine punching a pole until I bleed.

For me this is a really big realization. It may seem small but it keeps me up at night trying to figure my stuff out.

Suicide

Today at my school we we're told about a student that committed suicide the night before. I didn't know the guy but I was in shock the entire. I can't bring myself to cut my hand if I wanted (I don't) and he can kill himself. Before anyone says I am being insensitive I am trying not to be. This is a really hard time for everyone in my city. Last year a student did the same thing at our school and three students from a school at the other end of town did this and this is bringing up a lot of bad memories. If ANYONE reading this has ever really thought of killing themselves please talk to someone.
I hope this has not been an uncomfortable post for anyone if it has I am sorry.

Somethings you should know

Ok I have been given some definitions that I have been asked to put on the blog and since I like the definitions and they are relative to the main reason I started this blog I will.

Environmentalism

"I would like to call on young people. I want them to know that despite the challenges that they face, there is hope. I want to encourage them to serve the common good. My experience have taught me that service to others has its own special rewards. I also have a lot of hope in youth. Their minds do not have to be held back by old thinking about the environment. And you don't have to be rich or give up anything to become active. Even simply using both sides of a piece of paper before recycling is conserving the environment. The situation, however, is serious because the youth of today will experience the consequences of their elders mismanagement of the environment. Unless we change our course, the coming generations will inherit an impoverished environment that will mean a hungrier, less fertile, and more unstable world. More conflicts will erupt. Young people will need to become involved in promoting environmental sustainability. Through the Green Belt Movement we have helped young people get involved in environmental activities. We have tried to instill in them the idea that protecting the environment is not just a pleasure but a duty."

Desertification

"Ok its not just global warming it the fight for the land and that starts wars. But i'm a 8th grader and i thought I would talk about this. I think that its important to talk about this. Ok Desertification is a big deal you might say oh thats just in Africa. But it makes the land smaller and so we end up fighting for it. And another problem caused by desertification is hunger and thats a big one because the US buys most of their crops from Africa but thats not going to happen if desertification keep going. Now you might not think we can't stop desertification but the trees are a good barrier for the wind so it can't blow the sand around. But the trees are being cut down so we need to figure out how to stop that. Now you might say oh this isn't going to effect us but it will big time not just because of land shortages but desertification can help cause hurricanes. So I would love for everyone to come together and help stop Desertification."

Poetry

In the questions everyone asked if I(or the other Fang) wrote depressing poetry. Why did it have to be depressing? Anyway I was wondering if anyone who is reading this writes ANY poetry depressing or not depressing anything. I have actually written some poetry in my life, it was for remembrance day or veterans day for Americans and I liked it. If you have ever written any poetry what was your favorite you wrote.
And for my none creative folk (like myself) what is your favorite poem you have heard. Mine would be "The Moving Finger" The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam you should check it out sometime.
Anyway I am signing off now and don't think all my post are going to be about poetry now I just couldn't think of anything to write about today.

Spring

It is finally spring up here in Canada (or at least the part I live in) I am so glad I am really tired of winter. So I am going to be out more often so I might not respond as quickly as I usually do. Just fixed my bike after pretty much destroying in the winter so I am happy. So what is life like in your area. Winter, spring, category 5 hurricanes. You know hows the weather.

Long time

I have been a but busy lately so there hasn't been any new posts. Well I am back. I was wondering how many people actually check out this site regularly. I know Beth, lilsmo, and Aiden(maximumridefan) do. I was wondering though are there others how check me out regularly and don't post.
