Sorry!

Alright I have to say I am really sorry for not having posted in over two weeks. I just have not been able to tihnk of anything to write about. So let me fill you all in on wat is new.

I now have a temporary job landscaping. If you are ever thinking of doing a job like this be sure you know wht you are getting into. IT I BLOODY HARD WORK. But I have to say I do like getting the exersise and the money.

So the only other I really can think of writing is about an old SNES game which I have been playing a lot of lately.

.......

The Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past

Personally this is one of my favorite videogames ever. It is entertaining and not impossible to play your first time and you can play it a million times and it is still awesome. I think once I beat it this time it will be my 15th completion of the game. In my entire life. It is just that awesome of a game.

For all who don't know the story behind this I will give a brief summery.

All the maidens in the village are getting kidnapped. Link's uncle goes to the castle to try and save Princess Zelda. Link's uncle is killed and you have to take his place. After rescuing Zelda you go on a quest to destroy all the evil.

I could go into much more detail but it would get very confusing, if you did not know the game or series.

Anyway if anyone has any ideas for a new topic for me to talk about please do not hesitate to say something because I can not think of anything else. If I dont get any ideas I will just keep reviewing video games. ( Seriously I need better ideas!)

Well, because you enjoy video games, why don't you say something about the sexist pigs who create the games that make it so women look weak and stupid, or with incredibly unrealistic appearances that are demeaning to all girls. All the women in the village were kidnapped? You're saving a PRINCESS? Come on, in video game time it could take days to save her right, even if you work at it for only a few hours, your character has a different time frame, right? So in the time where you pass all these obstacles, the guy who kidnapped the princess (that damsel in distress thing is so overdone and cliche, it makes me sick) probably would have moved off to a remote and distant place where you'd never find him if he was a real person and was smart enough to do so. Ugh, I really am not a fan of many video games, but games where girls need to be saved when they have arms and legs and could very well save themselves, if not through force then through cleverness. If I'm wrong about too many games being like this, please let me know.

the 70's were responsible for women's independence too, hippies rock,

I totally understand what you are getting at. But it is the really just a guy thing.

1. Most of the time guys are the ones playing videogames.
2. If I was the main character and I was supoposed to save some dude for being tortured I would just not help him and probablly buy popcorn to eat while I watch his arms and legs riped off.
3. The game heavely sword is the perfect game for you then. I have nctually played it because I dot own a PS3 but I know that Main character is a girl and she kicks royal ass. She just kills everything she sees and its not any of the girly kicks and stuff you see in other video games she while take a huge fricken sword and chop you them half.

It makes sense just to run away but at the same time it would make the game suck if you had nothing to protect.

P.S - Go on AIM sometime you are never on.

Maybe I will check it out. All I have is my brother's ancient Game Cube though, but whatever I can try to find it. Finally, a reason I can go to Blockbuster other than to get a movie! I guess it kinda is a guy thing I will never get. But I don't get many things anyway.

PS: Wouldn't guys be just as happy to just run around in a video game destroying things WITHOUT saving/protecting someone? Or is that just for people who are into the Sims and that one Underground Skatepark series or whatever?

PPS: Sorry this comment was kind of lacking in flow of thoughts and all. I'm a little disoriented from that stupid ribfest I got dragged to. I guess I really shouldn't have gotten any lemonade. It didn't look trustworthy...
