This might not interest you but since I am a lover of video games and I have nothing else to talk about lately I decided to bring this up. So the question is which game is better Guitar Hero or Rock Band?
Guitar Hero: A lot of great songs. A lot of fun for the first bit, but after a while become impossible for the casual gamer. I know there are a lot of people who can beat the whole game on expert but for the casual gamer like myself. ( Casual meaning I don't dedicate my life to it.) The last set list on hard is not possible to beat. Plus it is awesome fun to play some insanely long hamer-ons on Cult of Personality.
Rock Band: Not as much guitar wanking as Guitar Hero. It had some good music in it also. A lot more fun to play as a group and the expert mode is not impossible. The versatility in this game are it best quality. Sure you can play with all the instruments and sing but the problem is you have to buy all of it. Which is annoying.
In the end I will say I prefer..... Rock Band I love Guitar Hero but it is jus more fun to play Rock Band.

Rock Band is totally more fun. I can do pretty well on the "medium" setting for bass guitar on Guitar Hero, but I have a ton more fun whamming the drums (my pent up rage, released at last!) on Rock Band. Plus the Tour setting gets you more songs. They should have a CD upload setting though where you can sync the game and your ipod or MP3 though.

I usually expert for any type of guitar. Medium on drums and on singing.
I realised now that making this is stupid because of one thing. This is the same reason you can't compare Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4.
They are two diffrent. Yes I know they are the same concept but two diffrent types of play.
Guitar Hero is massive note clusters and Rock Band is more mellow and not impossible.
Halo is more rush in and kill as many before you are shot down. Call od Duty is sneak around in the bushed and pray not to get seen.

I'd pretend I know what you're saying, but I really can't form an opinion on anything I've never experienced myself. Sorry, I'm no gamer, but I love music. Which is why I love Rock Band--you can play what you're best at and let other people handle the rest in multi-player. Yay cooperation!
